Tottenham are among Southampton’s young prospects interested in signing Tyler Dibling, who was born in 2006. Meanwhile, within Germany's Bundesliga, RB Leipzig has been making efforts to bring aboard Dibling, regarded as top-tier talent, giving them a fair shot at securing him.

The promising player from Southampton, Dibling, has caught the eye of numerous football enthusiasts in England. Despite experiencing their toughest phase this season, Southampton sees him as one notable outcome. Although Dibling did not score frequently during attacks, his potential for excelling in the Premier League is evident. Indeed, back in the previous winter transfer window, Tottenham made an offer of £35 million (approximately ₩64.4 billion) to sign Dibling, yet they were turned down right away.

Despite facing rejection during the January transfer window, Tottenham remains keen on signing Dibbling. There is anticipation that Tottenham’s pursuit of Dibbling will persist throughout the upcoming summer transfer period. According to BritishFootballLondon on June 6th (in Korea), "Tottenham has shown interest in Southampton’s forward, Dibling. Given that Southampton faces relegation, they might be inclined to sell Dibling to bolster their finances."

On the very same day, Southampton’s defeat against Manchester United continues to receive significant attention in British sports discussions. Manager Jason Wilcox acknowledges this, yet Tottenham Hotspur appears to be the frontrunner when it comes to potential signings as the summer transfer window opens.

Given the present circumstances, Tottenham is interested in signing Dibbling; however, it appears that Southampton has no desire to sell him at their requested price. Despite previous claims suggesting a valuation of £100 million (approximately 184.2 billion won), it’s more likely that Southampton would part with Dibbling for around £55 million (roughly 101.3 billion won).

Nevertheless, Tottenham has no plans to invest up to £55 million in a young prospect at this stage. Should they sign Dibbling, it might present a significant challenge for Yang Min-hyuk. As both players compete for the role of right winger, and considering Yang’s ambitions to break into Tottenham’s starting lineup, his chances may be impacted. The potential signing of Dibbling would probably not sit well with Yang Min-hyuk.

If Yang Min-hyuk doesn’t manage to get through the dribbling test, he won’t have enough opportunities to play for Tottenham’s main squad. Additionally, Mikey Moore, one of Tottenham’s most promising prospects, along with Brennan Johnson who is currently excelling, adds more competition. With numerous rivals, seeking development through loan might be a smarter choice moving forward. Once Tottenham appoints their new head coach, the strategy regarding the dribbling assessment should become clearer.
